ḤADĪTH OF THE DAY

“ The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said, "Do the odd-numbered prayer (1) before it dawns." Footnotes: (1): The voluntary night prayer that ends a person's worship for that day, and is performed in an odd number of prayer units (one unit, three units, etc.) ”

Sunan at-Tirmithiy كتاب فضائل الجهاد باب ما جاء فى فضل الخدمة فى سبيل الله

حَدَّثَنَا بِذَلِكَ زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ جَمِيلٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ أَبِى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِى أُمَامَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَفْضَلُ الصَّدَقَاتِ ظِلُّ فُسْطَاطٍ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ وَمَنِيحَةُ خَادِمٍ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَوْ طَرُوقَةُ فَحْلٍ فِى سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ وَهُوَ أَصَحُّ عِنْدِى مِنْ حَدِيثِ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ.
